This past weekend, I was with some friends sitting around drinking a few beers and chatting about music. We discussed the crossover of genres, particularly that of country music and how country music is different from the days of Waylon Jennings or Hank Williams. Certainly, there’s truth to that. It seems country music has blended with aspects of pop and aspects of rock that give it appeal to those who may not have given it a chance in the past. It certainly helps that the genre is littered with country boys that make most females’ mouths water… Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Chris Young and this week’s Totally Tantalizing Tuesday spotlight – Brantley Gilbert!
To me, Brantley has several things going for him outside of his budding music career though he did win the 2013 ACM New Male Artist… and rightfully so! He started out as a songwriter moving from Georgia to Nashville, selling his music to other artists, which I find pretty damn cool. I’m very much a lyrical girl. And I heart his songs! He has the sexiest voice! 🙂 He plays guitar. And he has this sort of “bad boy” look I just love… tattoos and Harley included!
