Happy Day-After Thanksgiving or as the retailers like to call it – Happy Black Friday! Hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday and if you are one of those Black Friday shoppers, I do hope your long waits in line were worth it!
Welcome to the 7th Annual Black Book Friday Bonanza. I’m thrilled to be a part of this blog hop because it falls perfectly before the new release of my new novel – Let Me Love You.
Twenty-three-year-old Ren Haynes returns home after graduating college with two goals–start his engineering career and claim the heart of his parents’ thirty-one-year-old divorced neighbor, Stacey Williams.
Stacey is nursing her broken heart and shattered ego. Not only did her ex-husband have an affair, he got the woman pregnant. Picking up the pieces of her life isn’t easy, so when Ren taps into her need to feel desired again, she finds herself in a position she never imagined.
Can Ren help to rebuild her confidence and convince her that age is just a number?
This story is near and dear to me and a long time coming. Back in 2015, I started writing the story of Ren and Stacey. At the time, it was called Love Thy Neighbor. I submitted the first 5,000 words of it to the Pages From the Heart writing contest just for the heck of it. And it won! 🙂
But commitments to other projects and life got in the way of me completing it. It sat in my WIP folder begging to be told. I worked on it periodically in the early part of 2017 with a promise that I’d publish it before year-end. After attending the RWA National Conference in Orlando in July, I was revived and inspired by so many aspiring and well-known authors that the rest of the story just starting pouring out of me. And as the story unfolded, I realized so did a new title for the story. If you pre-order it and read it on December 18th, you’ll understand why. Pre-order it on Amazon here.
As part of this blog hop, I’m giving away a $15 Amazon gift card. All you have to do is subscribe to my newsletter. Plus, you can earn extra points in the giveaway by tweeting about my new release or following me on Facebook. Good luck and happy blog hopping.
Don’t forget to the visit the other sites to find new authors and enter the numerous giveaways. You don’t want to miss out.
Okay, I admit it…I fell in love with Spartacus as played by Andy Whitfield in the Starz adaptation. How horrible that he succumbed to non-Hodgkin lymphoma shortly after wrapping up the first season. During the second season, the producers decided to introduce a new gladiator which, in my opinion, was one hot hunk to watch! So when the third season came back, with a new lead to play Spartacus, it didn’t seem such a sad departure from Andy.
I became fascinated by the dynamics of the politics behind the gladiator games. The origin of gladiatorial combat is open to debate. There is evidence of it in funeral rites during the Punic Wars of the 3rd century BC, and thereafter it rapidly became an essential feature of politics and social life in the Roman world. Its popularity led to its use in ever more lavish and costly games. The gladiator games lasted for nearly a thousand years. (Thanks, Wikipedia!)
The Alpha Gladiator was actually written to be part of an anthology, but it came out as too sci-fi, so I switched it to the novella story line, Romance on the Go, for Evernight Publishing. The Spartacus story might have provided the idea, but I moved everything into a futuristic slash paranormal setting. The next story I have planned in this line features more of the slave and gladiator dynamics, not quite so paranormal but still within the realms of mystical. Hopefully that will be written soon, after I wrap up a few other series.
Ravage is the fierce Alpha of his people, the Lycans. During the mating celebration, while their guards are down, his people are attacked and twelve are captured for the gladiator games of Kappuah, including Aleirah, the woman Ravage wants above all others.
He tries to resist, but he’s unwilling to see his men and his female harmed by the ruthless tyrants of the games. He must make the ultimate sacrifice of taking lives if he’s to protect his people.
But there is one secret no one knows, and Ravage is more than willing to show how some myths are based in truth, by letting his inner wolf come out to destroy all those who enslaved them.

“I remember.” He looked around. “You are a compassionate woman. Caring and kind. You would make me a great mate.”
Her mouth dropped open. “Excuse me?”
“A mate. I have been waiting for you to enter the mating ceremony for ten years, Aleirah. Surly you knew that?”
She shook her head. “No. I … ah … no. I don’t think I would make a very good mate for an Alpha.”
“Why would you think that?” he asked, a bit vexed. Ravage was fast learning she could be a little stubborn.
“I’m…” She paused and cleared her throat. “I just don’t think I would.”
“I beg to differ, and I hope you allow me to change your mind.” He stepped closer to her and her breath hitched in her throat. He tilted her face up and her mouth dropped open on a breathless little sigh. The he offered her his elbow. “Would you take a walk with me through the night?”
She bit her bottom lip with her top teeth, and the action had an interesting effect on his dick, which jumped to attention. Ravage could just imagine her sinking her teeth into his shoulder as he thrust into her beautiful body. Hesitantly, she took his arm and as soon as she touched him, he placed his hand on top of hers, trapping her by his side. Now that he had her, he wasn’t about to let her get away.
He pulled her away from both bonfires, into the woods, letting the darkness shroud them. Sometimes it was easier to let go of secrets and fears when the other person was cloaked in shadow. The night had always been a friend of the Lycanis people, so Ravage used the moon to his advantage.
“I remember you from when we were children,” he murmured.
“I remember you too,” she said softly.
He grinned, pleased with her answer. She may deny that she wanted to be his mate, but the pheromones coming off her body indicated otherwise. Aleirah found him desirable. Whether or not she wanted to be his mate, her body had already begun changing to accept his claiming bite. Now, he just had to get her to admit it, and he wasn’t above using seduction on his part.
Where to find Beth:
I like writing about the very ordinary girl thrust into extraordinary circumstances, so my heroines will probably never be lawyers, doctors or corporate highrollers. I try to write characters who aren’t cookie cutters and push myself to write complicated situations that I have no idea how to resolve, forcing me to think outside the box. I love writing characters who are real, complex and full of flaws, heroes and heroines who find redemption through love. I love to hear from readers so I’ve made it really easy to find me on the web:

The amazingly sexy storyteller–Elodie Parkes is here today with her latest Evernight Publishing release, A Dom for Patti. Welcome back, Elodie.
When a fleeting encounter with a handsome stranger ignites Patti’s repressed loneliness, she has to admit she longs for the love of a sensual Dom.
Luck is on her side when she goes out for the evening, and meets delicious Cameron in The Club—but is he all that he appears to be?
Cameron’s overwhelming attraction to Patti is tested when she inexplicably fails to show up for a date—just what is going on and will they ever get together?
An erotic romance, with Dom/sub and spanking elements—a contemporary, magical love story.
Background to the story
I wrote a story titled Rescuing Cade published by Evernight in February this year. In that story, Patti, the heroine from a Dom for Patti, is introduced to Cade. They are both visiting The Club, a select BDSM club. Cade is kind to Patti, but his heart already belongs to someone else and after only a few minutes he tells Patti he’s leaving. In that few minutes, he kisses Patti and she feels an instant attraction to him. Unfortunately, lonely Patti is destined not to be with Cade.
I liked Patti a lot and I decided to write her story. It’s an erotic romance with a twist. Patti is hoping for love as well as a handsome Dom to fill her lonely life, when she meets hunky Cameron in The Club, she thinks her luck is looking up … let’s hope so.

Elodie lives in Canterbury with her two dogs. She works in an antique shop by day and writes at night, loving the cloak of silent darkness that descends on the rural countryside around her home.
She has also released titles as an individual indie author.
Elodie only ever wears boots. (Yes, even in summer) She has three bachelor degrees because she couldn’t make up her mind what she wanted to do, and even then she got two Grad Dips in different subjects, naughty Elodie.
Music (her nickname at work is Melody Elodie because she’s often singing), the countryside, the ocean, animals, gorgeous men, technology, art, stockings and garter belts, movies, and potatoes, in any order. Elodie is addicted to black leather jackets, and faded jeans, and owns so many she’s ashamed to count them.
The scene with her tonight enchanted him. He glanced over to where she was dressing.
Patti struggled with the zip of her dress.
Cameron went to her. He fastened her dress and ran his hand along the nape of her neck, turning her to face him.
Cameron’s heart filled with hope at Patti’s tender smile. He handed her shoes over. “Here you go.”
Patti took them. “Thank you, Sir.”
He watched her balance to put them on for a moment before scooping her up and helping as she laughed and clutched his shoulders. Walking with her in his arms, he deposited her on a barstool. “I’d like it very much if you’d call me Cameron.”
She nodded. Her thick blonde hair shone in the light from the bar. The white strip lights reflected in the mirror tiles at the back of the bar sent streaks glistening as she pushed her hair from her face and nodded in agreement. “Yes, Sir.”
Cameron hardened his expression. “I expect you to do as I say, even though our scene is over. I’ve asked you to call me by my name. It will be great if you’d do that.” He turned to the bartender. “Coffee for me, thanks.” He looked at Patti for her order.
She sat sideways on the stool, turned toward him. “For me too. Thank you, Cameron.”
Just how much he enjoyed hearing his name from her lips sent a spike of surprise through him. He stared into her chocolate brown eyes as he pulled the next barstool along and sat to face her. For a whole minute, he drank in the sight of her. With her small rounded nose, the pretty shape of her face, and those oh so kissable lips slightly parted as if she waited for his mouth on hers—she was just right. He gave in to the sweet temptation of her mouth and leaned over to kiss her.
Cameron breathed in the soft scent of her skin as his nose pressed against her cheek. Her response to his kiss sent him hurtling into desire so strong he pushed his hand up between her thighs and his fingertips traced the shape of her slit through the soft fabric of her panties.
A low groan escaped him. He broke away from the kiss. “If you have no Master or wish for a more permanent Dom, I’m inclined to apply for the vacancy.” He murmured the words as he gazed into Patti’s eyes. “I will expect your fidelity. I can’t share you, unless you’re desperate to have a ménage, and then I’ll choose the third partner in our sexual pleasure. I don’t do pain, so fair warning. I do spank when you really ask for punishment by continued disobedience and if it makes you wet…” He stopped talking for a moment as he saw a fleeting emotion in her eyes and knew it did make her wet, and then continued. “I will want some extended scenes with some restraint you’re comfortable with, so that I can fully appreciate your sexy little body and response to my attention—I will take care of you. What do you think?”

Thank you so much for hosting me J
Today, I have Michelle Roth here with her latest Evernight Publishing release, Shakedown. Welcome, Michelle!
Hi there, everyone! I’m Michelle Roth and I’m here to introduce my latest release, Shakedown. Diamond and Diamond is a bit of a departure from anything that I’ve written thus far. My previous works have all been ultra-realistic contemporary romance. Shakedown still has the sexy, steamy elements just like any other erotic romance, but it also incorporates a bit of suspense and mystery as well. I certainly hope you enjoy!
Private Detective Mike Diamond is the low man on the totem pole. More often than not he finds himself investigating insurance fraud or cheating spouses. When he’s assigned a dog-napping case, he is on the brink of refusing until he meets the client. One look at her changes everything.
When the police refuse to investigate her case, Cassidy Werner turns to Diamond and Diamond Private Investigators. Despite the bad first impression he’s given her, Cassidy still hires Mike to help her find her prize Tibetan Mastiff. As she gets to know him, she realizes that he’s not only dedicated to getting Roddy back for her, but also a pretty great guy.
Right after she receives a ransom demand, things begin to heat up between them. Will Mike be able to crack the case and save her dog? And if he can, does that mean that he gets the girl too?
He was relieved to find the lobby was empty, so he stopped back at Lara’s desk and asked, “Can you believe that shit? A dog napping?”
He didn’t think for a minute she hadn’t overheard every word. That woman was like the KGB and Secret Service all in one. Anything happened in this office, she had it under immediate surveillance.
Lara cuffed him on the arm and said, “She’s in the bathroom, idiot.”
Mike winced, feeling bad he’d probably been overheard. But, seriously, who hired a PI to find a lost dog?
Seconds later, the bathroom door slowly opened. He almost did a double take as the woman stepped out. Aside from red eyes that had clearly been crying, she was a looker.
She was elegantly dressed and somewhere near his age, with a riot of auburn curls trailing down her back, like some sort of mermaid siren. All ripe, lush curves. He’d always liked his women soft.
And, he was ogling this obviously distraught woman like she was a steak. Not that he wouldn’t be more than interested in taking a bite, but it was clear that now wasn’t the time. So instead of voicing his thoughts, he stuck his hand out and said, “Mike Diamond. And you are?”
“Cassidy Werner,” she said, not bothering to stick her hand out.
Well, apparently she’d heard him. He’d need to apologize, if the look on her face was any indication. He dropped his hand and said, “My office is this way.”
She gave him a look that screamed ‘You’re on thin ice, buddy’ but moved toward the open office door that Mike had gestured to. He followed her, once again appreciating the hourglass waist and full hips. Damn.
He moved behind his desk and gestured to one of the worn chairs. When she had settled in, he asked, “So I understand your dog has been kidnapped?”
About Michelle Roth:
Michelle Roth is a novelist from the Great White North (Toronto, ON). When she’s not disappearing into foreign lands, or making two perfect strangers that she invented fall in love, she’s probably curled up somewhere with a glass of wine and a good book.
In her spare time she is typically hanging out with her awesome boyfriend and their two equally awesome cats. She likes taking road trips to nowhere in particular, cooking elaborate meals then making other people do the dishes, and being nerdy on the internet. Her books are currently available on Amazon, Nook, Kobo, and any other place that sells absolutely filthy romance novels.

If you’re wondering who my inspiration was for Talon Manness in my story HOPE from our Girl Code anthology, wonder no more because I’m about to introduce him. I found him last year while doing the very hard research for a Totally Tantalizing Tuesday and well, I’ve never, ever forgotten him. He’s tattooed. He’s got a hard body. He’s got a boy-next-door face. He has a charming killer smile. Meet Alex Michael Turner – the man I looked at when I created Talon! If you aren’t familiar with him and following him on every social media forum, you’re definitely missing out. You can find him on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (@flexturner). And by the way – You’re very welcome! 🙂 ❤
The #GirlCode project has been a rollercoaster ride. Putting your heart and soul into a story in the midst of working a full-time job, being a mother to three young children, a wife to a wonderfully patient man and doing all the other things required to make this life run smoothly can take a toll on a person. I’ve had the privilege to work with three amazing authors on #GirlCode and I must admit, I’ve never been more proud of a project. Enjoy the Book Trailer and then Pre-Order your copy of Girl Code now! 🙂
When I first laid eyes on Gary Taylor, I had to pick my jaw up off the ground. He embodies a look that is so very appealing to me – that rough, outdoorsy, earthy kind of guy – that isn’t afraid to get dirty! 😉 He’s got soft eyes, a hard body and a genuine smile that melts you. I have yet to see a single picture of his that I haven’t literally drooled over. I featured him last year on my blog for TTT and my hits were through the roof because he has so many followers and it’s understandable. He’s freaking fantastic and he seems like a pretty cool guy too! If you’re trying to find him, you can find him on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. If you aren’t following him, you should be!
I’m knee-deep in some serious edits for my story HOPE in Girl Code, which is panning out to be one of my favorite stories I’ve written. But the editing is quite intense, so the search for the perfect Tuesday tantalizer has been a great break for me! This week I found an Austrian hottie that I’m excited to share with you. ANTHONY JAMES HILL. You can find him on Facebook and I suggest you check him out! Enjoy and Happy Tantalizing Tuesday!
Four weeks in a row! 🙂 Yep, I’m back again for another round of Sandra Bunino’s Mid-Week Tease. You know-the feature where us authors get an opportunity to post a snippet of a work-in-progress (aka WIPs), a new release or a back title. It’s an amazing way to get a peek at different authors and see what’s up with some of your favorites!
For the last three weeks, I’ve let you get a sneak peek into three of the four stories in Girl Code by DC Stone, Lea Bronsen and myself. This week I’m letting you have a glimpse into the last story in Girl Code – FAITH by Cait Jarrod. The four of us are very eager to share these stories with you. Hope you enjoy!
Setup: the first time Selena and Cullen talked since the night before she went into the Air Force.
Every once and a while someone points out the perfect TTT specimen and I can’t wait until Tuesday! That’s what happen this past week. My good friend and fellow author – Lea Bronsen – brought Mr. Angel DeMacho to my attention. She shot me his picture and I do believe my jaw dropped to the ground. Once I was able to breathe again, I asked her for his name and she did more than provide me with his name. Lea sent several other photos and a blog that gave a little background information about him because the obvious question is: Where did this delicious man come from?
From what I can gather from Katie Morningstar’s blog, Angel is an Israeli/Spanish software engineer turned model. He speaks several languages, including English, French, Spanish, Hebrew and German. He’s a rather stunning man, who also appears to have quite the intellect. A whole package – so-to-speak. You can find him on Facebook and Instagram. Enjoy and you’re welcome! 🙂
