Marianne Kowalski is simply trying to survive on what’s left of Earth after two years of invasions by the Tyranns. One night she spots an alien spaceship. When two men emerge, she hands them a letter explaining how to find her missing aunt and uncle. Marianne has nothing left on Earth, and only wants to rejoin the two people who raised her.
But when she wakes up, she’s on Addo with Vaughn and River, two hulking alien men who inform her that her aunt and uncle have been taken prisoner by the Tyranns and are being held somewhere on Voyeur Moon. Marianne puts her IT skills to work helping the Addonians, but falling in love with Vaughn and River isn’t something she counted on.
Lightning flashed once more, and the thunder was very close now. Fat drops of rain hit the pavement in front of the deck, and she knew the canopy wouldn’t protect them for long. The storm was heading straight for them. She rose, hoping they’d follow, which they did.
Marianne went straight to her bedroom, shedding her clothes as she walked. Her entire body trembled, but it wasn’t from fear. She was on fire for them, and she’d never felt so wanton or uninhibited in her life. But she also knew this wasn’t wrong. It couldn’t be. Not when it felt so perfect and sexy.
As they walked, she heard scuffling noises and soft grunts, and knew they were undressing as well, but she didn’t turn around. If she stopped, she’d lose her nerve. When she reached her bed, she stepped out of her panties and lay down on her side to watch them. There was only one soft light on in the room, but her drapes were open so they also had the lightning to illuminate the space.
She finally dared to look at them, and they were indeed naked. They nearly tripped over each other walking into the room, and she tried not to laugh. Then she moaned as she let her gaze travel over their naked bodies. Oh my … they are fucking magnificent.
Both men were as muscled as she’d imagined they would be, and covered with tats. Their dicks were big and thick, and a wave of nervousness washed over her. It had been a long time, and she wasn’t sure whether it would hurt at first when they fucked her.
But one look into their faces put her at ease. These men weren’t going to hurt her. They were just as apprehensive as she was. Her heart gave a strange lurch that these two big, strong alien men were nervous about making love to an Earth woman.
She sat up and held out her arms. River reached her first, and he pulled her into his arms and captured her mouth in a kiss so hot she wasn’t sure the lightning would be hotter if it struck her.
She parted her lips, and moans escaped her throat as he worked his tongue inside, teasing hers, and moving his lips in ways she’d only imagined were possible. What an incredible kisser. Was Vaughn this skilled, too? Oh, how she hoped so.
He tangled his fingers in her hair and gave it a tug, not hard enough to hurt, but in a way that sent tiny jolts of electricity through her body until she couldn’t even think. All she wanted to do was lie back on the bed and beg him to fuck her.
“Give me a turn.”
Vaughn’s voice, filled with lust and humor, broke through her fog. River released the kiss, and then grinned at her in a way that sent fresh wetness to her pussy. “Should we let him join us?”
“Well, I don’t know. Is he as good a kisser as you are?”
Vaughn snorted. “I’m better.”
She giggled, and River mumbled something in a language she couldn’t understand. “Was that a curse word?” They’d spoken in their language occasionally all week, and it sounded like a Russian dialect to her. She was slowly learning a few words but hadn’t heard this particular one yet.
“More than one,” he said. “Remind me later when Vaughn falls asleep and I’ll teach them all to you.”
“You’ll fall asleep before I will.”
“Doubtful. I’m younger than you.”
Vaughn crawled next to her and glared at River. “Move aside and let me have a turn.”
River did, and then he pulled lazily on his cock as Vaughn cupped her face. He stared at her with so much intensity, she had trouble breathing. The storm was directly overhead now, and lightning lit up the room. When the thunder rumbled, she swore the entire building shook.
“That’s exactly how I feel inside,” said Vaughn. “Ready to take you with the same intensity as this storm.” She moaned and he grinned, and then he pushed her onto her back and climbed on top of her. He held her face with both hands. “You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.”
Another week has flown by and that glorious hump day is here to push us into the weekend. With Wednesday comes Sandra Bunino’s incredible feature – Mid-Week Tease – where us authors get a chance to share snippets of works in progress, new releases or back-listed titles of our own or of others! It really is a fabulous way to catch a glimpse of an author’s style and along the hop, you may find a new author that might soon become your favorite! 🙂
Two weeks ago, I shared a part of my story – HOPE – from the Girl Code anthology I worked on with DC Stone, Lea Bronsen and Cait Jarrod. Last week, DC Stone allowed me to share a peek at her story from Girl Code – PERSISTENCE. And this week, we get to see a bit from the talented Lea Bronsen and her Girl Code story – LIVE. You are so going to love this glance into Juls and just how she meets Reef. Enjoy!
Hello April! I’m always amazed at how fast these months roll by. We are already seven days into April and with that hopefully comes beautiful spring weather – which in Florida means 85 degrees and sunshine! 🙂 I hope you all are warming up wherever you are!
For the first Tuesday of April, I found an amazing Tantalizer – Ryan Patrick! He’s a handsome devil that loves being a daddy to his little girl (Aw! We ❤ guys that taking being a daddy seriously!) and he has a small obsession with Oreos (I must ask – does he eat the Oreo together or pull the cookie apart and eat the icing first? Curious minds want to know!) You can find him on Facebook or on Instagram. Enjoy!
Thank you to Sandra Bunino for hosting this wonderful feature – Mid-Week Tease – where authors get to share snippets of their books or WIPs (aka works in progress) 😉 It’s a great opportunity to get a glance at an author’s work and perhaps find new authors along the way.
Last week I shared my story – HOPE – from the Girl Code anthology that I worked on with DC Stone, Lea Bronsen and Cait Jarrod. This week, I’m sharing a snippet of DC Stone’s story – PERSISTENCE – also from Girl Code. You’re going to love it! 🙂
But before we get to the really good stuff (and I assure it is good – I’ve read DC’s story) – here’s the blurb for PERSISTENCE:
Laydi Michaels has been running away from her past and bad memories for years. Finding herself wasn’t an easy task, but she’s managed to finally get to a point to where she wants to be. Only to wake up married to her boss….who fired her the night before. Wrapped in a case that puts her life in danger, and dealing with a grave situation back home in Pearl, Laydi figures out she wasn’t close to finding herself, and now, she’s risked everything.
Laydi Michaels woke with a start, her eyes opening and slamming shut in a flash as the glare of sunlight stabbed like a two-ton sledgehammer into her pounding brain. Not that she thought a two-ton hammer existed, but with how she was feeling—headache, nausea, and alarmingly, yet deliciously sore in certain places—that was the only apt description. She had the hangover of all binge drinkers. One that rivaled her high school days where she’d disappear with Dad’s fifth of Jack, a bag from Burger King, and her best friends, until not a drop remained in the bottle and they’d mastered Lady Gaga’s latest hit. At the top of their lungs. Forward and backwards.
Bringing herself back to the present, and away from any mention of alcohol, because her stomach adamantly recoiled at the thought, she left her eyes closed and took stock of her surroundings. From the brief glimpse, she hadn’t recognized the bare white walls, or the rose-colored drapes hanging in front of the large window. She was obviously not in her own room, where the walls were a sage green and the windows had blackout curtains—something required in her line of work, due to her overnight surveillance cases.
Next noticeable concern? She was completely naked, just as the day she was born. The sheets against her skin—not that she was moving much; no, her stomach revolted against that—were soft, a higher thread count than the Egyptian cream-colored ones back home.
The most alarming detail of all, though, was the very heavy and thick arm wrapped around her waist. She lay slightly on her side, but her hip was without a doubt touching a warm thigh, and from the uncomfortable poking sensation, the stillness of this male body next to her, something was up before the actual man was.
Raking her mind, she tried to remember anything, something from last night, a clue to explain where she was and whom she was lying next to. But all she could come up with was how she’d made an absolute blathering fool of herself to her boss, Andrew Cox.
She paused and gave a little girly sigh at the thought of him. Tall, well over six-feet, he was built like a Greek God, and not the ones learned about in History class. No, this guy had romance novel written all over him. Combined with the charm of a gentleman, and the resemblance to Chris Hemsworth; ladies fell all over themselves in his presence. And with his dating history, Andrew wasn’t one to shy away from attention.
His hair was dark blond and a few weeks past needing a haircut. His bangs fell across his forehead when he typed furiously on his computer, or when he was interviewing a suspect and got really into the story. His eyes changed colors depending on the shirt he wore. They could be either blue or green, but they were wide-set and startling to the female population. She’d seen many women trip over their feet when taking in Andrew, and if his height, six-days-a-week I-work-out-at-the-gym body, hair, or eyes didn’t do it, the smooth velvet of his voice caused thighs to tremble with anticipation.
He should have been a radio DJ, or a phone sex operator, instead of the CEO for Off The Record Private Investigations.
He had a smooth southern drawl that spoke of being raised somewhere in the state of Georgia…sexy as hell. She shuddered at just the memory.
Two things happened next: her stomach lurched and bile rose, her body’s way of telling her she had indeed indulged in one or too many drinks last night.
Second, as she snapped her eyes open and dove from the bed, she caught a glance at the mysterious stranger in bed with her, who was really no stranger at all.
Gloriously sexy, sleepy—and very familiar—blue eyes widened in surprised and concern as she bounded across the room for the bathroom, where she promptly regurgitated last night’s fun.
I hope you enjoyed this snippet from DC Stone’s contribution to Girl Code. We are super excited about this anthology and can’t wait to share it all with you. 🙂 If you enjoyed this post, please click on the link below to see the rest of the amazing participating authors in Mid-Week Tease.

Well, it’s Spring Break here and the kids are off for the week! Lots of outside playing and in and out of the house, but it’s usually filled with laughter. That being said, with the kids off school, my days seem to bleed one into the other and I have to actually look at the calendar to determine the day of the week. And lookey here – it’s Tuesday!
I’m bringing you a guy that I’ve seen mainly because I follow BT Urruela. They’ve done a photo shoot together and well, he’s worth checking out. He’s got a touch of boy next door – meets country hottie – meets bad boy – Oh My! Welcome Shane Williams. You can check him out on Instagram @eyeball_2015_ Trust me – his Instagram page is worth following. He’s not just eye candy, ladies. He seems to have a sense of adventure and a sense of humor. Enjoy!
Woohoo! I’m back in the Mid-Week Tease saddle! It’s been quite awhile, but I’m SUPER excited to be back on Sandra Bunino’s feature where us authors get to post a snippet of a story – published or in the works! I’m excited because I’ve been working on a great project with an amazing group of authors – D.C. Stone, Lea Bronsen and Cait Jarrod. And guess who wrote the introduction to this amazing book? Yes, one of my all time favs – Julie Ann Walker! Yes, I know, right?
Now that we are in the editing stages of Girl Code, I’d like to share a little snippet of my story – HOPE. But first, here’s the blurb to give you a little background on my story:
Josephine “Joey” Lockhart hides behind her camera—and has since she was young—because it’s safer to view the world through a lens than to actually have to face it or live it. Growing up in the small town of Pearl, Ohio, with an alcoholic father and an enabling mother, the only thing she can be is quiet, reserved and withdrawn unless she’s with her “sisters.” After high school, she escapes to Florida, where she lives a comfortable and modest life doing what she loves—taking photos, but there’s a fun-loving, adventurous and strong woman hiding under the past that plagues her. In walks Talon Manness, who seems to not only have a knack for bringing her out of her shell but also causing her heart to race frantically for real for the first time in her life, but Talon has his own issues. Can they work through their pasts toward a future together? Is hope enough?
I know that no one envies my job of finding good looking men to grace this blog for Tantalizing Tuesday! It is hard work – scouring the internet for just the perfect photos to keep you all coming back. Well, this week I found an incredibly handsome man by the name of Jeremy Aaron Mooney. I hope you enjoy… If you do, you can find him on Facebook.
Please welcome Elyzabeth M. Valey with her latest Evernight Publishing historical shifter romance – A Tempest of Passion.
Two years ago I had an idea for a novel. It included a wolf shifter and the regency period. A Tempest of Passion was born and here are ten things I think you’ll like about it:
- The regency era. I just love historical romance.
- Courting. The magic of regency era courting. Writing Love letters.
My dearest Emily,
The sun is barely rising and I find myself at my desk attempting to put into words the emotion that pierces my heart every time I think of you.
3. Shifters. Wolf Shifters and their own special rules. The mating pull would be stronger, more violent. He’d be unable to escape it in any manner.
4. A heroine that uses her brain and knows what she wants. She knew he was referring to her, but she couldn’t look at him, couldn’t succumb to a man she didn’t understand.
5. A hero that won’t take no for an answer. “I don’t take kindly to broken promises,” he whispered gruffly.
6. Dancing. Regency dancing. Did you know the waltz was prohibited in many places? Fortunately for our protagonists Brookenshire was not one of those places. *grin*
7. Kisses. Smoldering kisses.Emily whimpered. The sound came deep from within her as he brushed his lips against hers once more.
8. Danger. The panic whinny of a horse sounded in the distance. William’s blood curdled
9. Love.“Love, Ms. Bunsbury. That intense feeling of affection mingled with passion that leaves you breathless and yearning one moment and content and sated the next. That heart wrenching emotion that you think you can exist without but that in truth you are nothing without.”
10. Passion it wouldn’t be called A Tempest of Passion if there weren’t any. *wink*
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Hope you all are wearing green today so you don’t get pinched. Or maybe you’re not wearing green because you want to get pinched! 😉 So not only do we get to drink green beer today, but it just so happens that St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Tantalizing Tuesday this year. In honor of kilt wearing men everywhere, I thought I’d find a hot somebody that not only wears a kilt well, but has a great accent (albeit a Scottish one)! 😉 Here’s hunky actor Gerard Butler!
Today, I have the lovely and ever talented Elodie Parkes visiting with her latest Evernight Publishing release – Rescuing Cade. Welcome back, Elodie! Always a pleasure having you here.
Cade’s trying to get over a broken heart when his friend Jack takes him off to a nightclub, named only, The Club. Although at first Cade is shocked by the place he meets Marissa. It’s not long before he and Marissa get together, but under the pressure of expectations from, The Club, and Marissa’s fear of commitment, they’re both running in opposite directions.
Gorgeous Cade has touched Marissa’s heart in ways she doesn’t want to admit.
Lovely Marissa has lifted Cade’s sadness and opened his heart to love again.
The trouble is — someone has to give a little. Who’s it going to be?
An erotic romance with a sprinkle of vanilla BDSM (more…)
