Happy Day-After Thanksgiving or as the retailers like to call it – Happy Black Friday! Hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday and if you are one of those Black Friday shoppers, I do hope your long waits in line were worth it!
Welcome to the 7th Annual Black Book Friday Bonanza. I’m thrilled to be a part of this blog hop because it falls perfectly before the new release of my new novel – Let Me Love You.
Twenty-three-year-old Ren Haynes returns home after graduating college with two goals–start his engineering career and claim the heart of his parents’ thirty-one-year-old divorced neighbor, Stacey Williams.
Stacey is nursing her broken heart and shattered ego. Not only did her ex-husband have an affair, he got the woman pregnant. Picking up the pieces of her life isn’t easy, so when Ren taps into her need to feel desired again, she finds herself in a position she never imagined.
Can Ren help to rebuild her confidence and convince her that age is just a number?
This story is near and dear to me and a long time coming. Back in 2015, I started writing the story of Ren and Stacey. At the time, it was called Love Thy Neighbor. I submitted the first 5,000 words of it to the Pages From the Heart writing contest just for the heck of it. And it won! 🙂
But commitments to other projects and life got in the way of me completing it. It sat in my WIP folder begging to be told. I worked on it periodically in the early part of 2017 with a promise that I’d publish it before year-end. After attending the RWA National Conference in Orlando in July, I was revived and inspired by so many aspiring and well-known authors that the rest of the story just starting pouring out of me. And as the story unfolded, I realized so did a new title for the story. If you pre-order it and read it on December 18th, you’ll understand why. Pre-order it on Amazon here.
As part of this blog hop, I’m giving away a $15 Amazon gift card. All you have to do is subscribe to my newsletter. Plus, you can earn extra points in the giveaway by tweeting about my new release or following me on Facebook. Good luck and happy blog hopping.
Don’t forget to the visit the other sites to find new authors and enter the numerous giveaways. You don’t want to miss out.
I thoroughly enjoyed Kishan Paul’s book, Blind Love, published by Samhain Publishing. Who doesn’t love a challenged heroine and a hot sexy ex-Marine hero who have to overcome several obstacles in order to be together. Blindness-or near blindness in Lauren’s case- can sometimes hinder what that person can do, but not Lauren. Despite a failed marriage with an ex that can’t seem to get over her, Lauren became a psychologist and has made quite the career with the help of her best friend, Sunshine. But Lauren’s love life is not only lacking, it’s basically non-existent. Enter Gabe.
Gabe is remodeling the townhouse next door to Lauren’s and makes his presence known with all the banging and drilling. Sparks fly when these two meet, but Lauren’s resistant of letting a man too close. Her ex-husband, Ben, destroyed any faith she had in relationships. But Lauren enjoys Gabe’s company and as they say – one thing leads to another.
This book is filled with all things a romance should be filled with–cute banter between the eventual couple, a strong heroine, a hunky hero, a supportive and funny best friend, a lovable dog, a few laughs, a couple tears, and a bit of suspense. Though this is not a steamy hot romance novel, Kishan did a terrific job tying these two lives together to a very satisfying end. I look forward to her next book – perhaps a story about Sunshine Daye! 🙂
5 stars *****
Marianne Kowalski is simply trying to survive on what’s left of Earth after two years of invasions by the Tyranns. One night she spots an alien spaceship. When two men emerge, she hands them a letter explaining how to find her missing aunt and uncle. Marianne has nothing left on Earth, and only wants to rejoin the two people who raised her.
But when she wakes up, she’s on Addo with Vaughn and River, two hulking alien men who inform her that her aunt and uncle have been taken prisoner by the Tyranns and are being held somewhere on Voyeur Moon. Marianne puts her IT skills to work helping the Addonians, but falling in love with Vaughn and River isn’t something she counted on.
Lightning flashed once more, and the thunder was very close now. Fat drops of rain hit the pavement in front of the deck, and she knew the canopy wouldn’t protect them for long. The storm was heading straight for them. She rose, hoping they’d follow, which they did.
Marianne went straight to her bedroom, shedding her clothes as she walked. Her entire body trembled, but it wasn’t from fear. She was on fire for them, and she’d never felt so wanton or uninhibited in her life. But she also knew this wasn’t wrong. It couldn’t be. Not when it felt so perfect and sexy.
As they walked, she heard scuffling noises and soft grunts, and knew they were undressing as well, but she didn’t turn around. If she stopped, she’d lose her nerve. When she reached her bed, she stepped out of her panties and lay down on her side to watch them. There was only one soft light on in the room, but her drapes were open so they also had the lightning to illuminate the space.
She finally dared to look at them, and they were indeed naked. They nearly tripped over each other walking into the room, and she tried not to laugh. Then she moaned as she let her gaze travel over their naked bodies. Oh my … they are fucking magnificent.
Both men were as muscled as she’d imagined they would be, and covered with tats. Their dicks were big and thick, and a wave of nervousness washed over her. It had been a long time, and she wasn’t sure whether it would hurt at first when they fucked her.
But one look into their faces put her at ease. These men weren’t going to hurt her. They were just as apprehensive as she was. Her heart gave a strange lurch that these two big, strong alien men were nervous about making love to an Earth woman.
She sat up and held out her arms. River reached her first, and he pulled her into his arms and captured her mouth in a kiss so hot she wasn’t sure the lightning would be hotter if it struck her.
She parted her lips, and moans escaped her throat as he worked his tongue inside, teasing hers, and moving his lips in ways she’d only imagined were possible. What an incredible kisser. Was Vaughn this skilled, too? Oh, how she hoped so.
He tangled his fingers in her hair and gave it a tug, not hard enough to hurt, but in a way that sent tiny jolts of electricity through her body until she couldn’t even think. All she wanted to do was lie back on the bed and beg him to fuck her.
“Give me a turn.”
Vaughn’s voice, filled with lust and humor, broke through her fog. River released the kiss, and then grinned at her in a way that sent fresh wetness to her pussy. “Should we let him join us?”
“Well, I don’t know. Is he as good a kisser as you are?”
Vaughn snorted. “I’m better.”
She giggled, and River mumbled something in a language she couldn’t understand. “Was that a curse word?” They’d spoken in their language occasionally all week, and it sounded like a Russian dialect to her. She was slowly learning a few words but hadn’t heard this particular one yet.
“More than one,” he said. “Remind me later when Vaughn falls asleep and I’ll teach them all to you.”
“You’ll fall asleep before I will.”
“Doubtful. I’m younger than you.”
Vaughn crawled next to her and glared at River. “Move aside and let me have a turn.”
River did, and then he pulled lazily on his cock as Vaughn cupped her face. He stared at her with so much intensity, she had trouble breathing. The storm was directly overhead now, and lightning lit up the room. When the thunder rumbled, she swore the entire building shook.
“That’s exactly how I feel inside,” said Vaughn. “Ready to take you with the same intensity as this storm.” She moaned and he grinned, and then he pushed her onto her back and climbed on top of her. He held her face with both hands. “You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.”
Today, April Zyon is visiting us with her Evernight Publishing release, All In the Timing. Thanks for coming by, April. Glad to have you visit us again. 🙂
Rebuilding her life was never in Elizabeth Davidson’s plans, but things rarely go according to plan. At least she had Massey, TX to call home when she needed a place to tuck herself away from one mistake after another. What she hadn’t planned on was becoming embroiled in the middle of a multi-agency case. Or becoming one of the victims.
Frank Carver, Jr. loves Massey, TX. It’s the place of his birth, and will always be the place he considers home. Because of the nature of the job he chose to do, and the people he’s come across during the years, he’s always been careful to never lead that danger back home. But when danger finds its way into the very heart of his town, he has no other choice but to return. Especially when Elizabeth, the only woman he could ever love ends up with a target on her back.
“I’m sure that there is a woman out there that would take you, that wants you.” She did. God help Eli, but she wanted him desperately. She wanted him to be in her life, she wanted to have him, but was too afraid to tell him. “One day, she’s going to walk into your life and you will put the job behind you and stay around. I just know it.”
His gaze clashed with hers, and held. For long moments, it felt like he was peeling away the layers, seeing farther than anyone ever should. “Oh, of that I’m quite sure,” he said. “But she’ll have to wait a little longer. I have one, maybe two more very important things I need to attend to before she’ll have my full attention. If she’s even ready for it, of course.”
Eli felt her heart fall, but she nodded, plastered on a fake smile, and pulled her hand back from him. So he already knew who it was that he wanted. Of course he did. He was an amazing man and would of course already know who he wanted to be with. “I’m sure that she would be ready. She will wait for you. You are worth it, Frank.” She would wait forever for him, and that was just plain sad. Right, so since he knew who he wanted, that meant she really did need to get on with her life. “Finish eating,” she said simply, and picked up her chicken leg.
He didn’t look away, though, his gaze steady on her long enough to start to unnerve her. Then, shockingly, his lips curled into the smallest of grins. “She doesn’t even have the faintest clue, but she will,” he said. “Eventually, she’ll clue into the fact that I know exactly how she feels and will get with the program, I’m sure.” He finally looked away from her, and returned his attention to his plate.
Whoever it was, well, she was a very lucky woman indeed. She turned her focus back to her food and took her time eating. She had to admit, the food really was very good. It was better than she had anticipated, so that was good at least.
“You’re awfully quiet,” he said a time later. His plate was cleaned of everything but the chicken bones. “Something on your mind, Eli?” Frank was leaning back in his seat, his legs stretched out under the table, his entire posture extremely relaxed.
“Just trying to think of who this woman is that you have a thing for,” she blurted out, blushing as she realized that she really had said that aloud. “So, apple pie. You want some and ice cream? I have plain vanilla to go with the pie. Works better that way, I think.”
One of his eyebrows went up, and if she wasn’t completely mistaken, he appeared to be fighting a grin. “Never liked ice cream on my pie, dilutes the flavors, to my way of thinking. So I’ll just have a piece straight up, if you don’t mind. Any thoughts on who this mystery woman might be?”
“Not the first clue,” she admitted, and stood. “Will you clear the plates? I will get the pie if you will do that, please.” She would box up the leftovers and ensure that Frank was able to take that out to the guys. “So just plain apple pie, I can do that.”
His heat was the first thing she felt along her spine. He put his hands on the counter on either side of her, effectively trapping her. “Think on it for a while, Eli. I’m sure you can figure it out. You’re a wonderfully brilliant woman, after all. I’ll even give you a clue if you think it will help.”
“I think I might need it.” She turned so she could look up at him. She had no idea who it was that he might have a thing for. Her hand braced on Frank’s chest and she bit her lower lip. “Tell me?” She wanted to know who it was that he was talking about. She wanted to be able to hate that woman.
“All right,” he said. Tipping his head slightly, he appeared to think for a moment. “She’s amazing, fierce in her own way, and pretty much thinks she’s the last person on the planet who would garner attention from me. And as a bonus clue…” He looked her dead in the eye again. “She’s the only person who I’d climb over my family to get to.” Tapping the end of her nose, he turned and went to the table to begin gathering up the dishes and food.
She just looked at him. She couldn’t stop staring. She was missing something and felt incredibly stupid at that moment. “Me?” She gasped finally, realizing exactly who he was talking about. “Frank.” She moved and reached out to grab his arm. “Are you talking about me?”

Today, I have April Zyon with us to show off her latest Evernight Publishing release His Undercover Lover. Stripper undercover. Stealthy Marine. Sounds to me like this book has all the elements to make things steamy! Welcome, April! 🙂
Working undercover either has its perks, or it has serious downfalls. For Megan Jenkins, working as a stripper to uncover the illegal activities happening in Massey, TX, was definitely not her idea of fun. If she’d wanted men to leer at her half naked self, she was pretty sure she could have come up with something a lot more entertaining. For herself at least.
She’s been driving him more than a little crazy since he came to town. Simon Markham isn’t the sort of man to give up though. As a Marine he understands the need for stealth, and is more than willing to let things play out but only to a point. When Megan’s case begins to show promise, and not the good kind, he isn’t willing to stand idly by any longer. Whether she likes it or not he plans on watching over her, each and every single inch if he has his way.
Things begin to unravel for the Mayor of Massey when Megan and Simon stumble onto new information. The man becomes so desperate he actually kidnaps her to ensure she can never speak of anything she’s learned. But Megan knows that Simon isn’t about to let the man get away with it. Her Marine will come for her, and God help anyone in his way.
Time is ticking, the noose is tightening, and the bad guys think they are free and clear. They didn’t count on the DEA, and one very determined Marine to put a serious dent in their plans.
Rescuing Megan hadn’t been in his grand plan to woo her, but Simon isn’t about to let anything get between him and the woman he loves. Come hell, or high water, he fully intends on marrying his undercover lover.
Holding his cup up, he tipped his head to Mercy when she refilled his coffee. “Thank you,” he said. When she patted him on his head, he rolled his eyes.
Brant Carver, Mercy’s husband, was laughing into his own cup of coffee. His expression changed to something softer when Mercy moved closer to him. Lowering the cup, he let her fill it, tipping his face up for the kiss she dropped on his lips.
Unable to help himself, Simon rolled his eyes again. This time, he knew no one saw him do it. They were too into one another. Taking a drink of his coffee, he set the cup down, and then began to drum his fingers on the table top. As the kissing continued, he progressively got louder, and louder.
Finally, Brant pulled away and turned a glower on him. “Is there a problem?”
“Was trying to determine if I should go to another room or not.”
“Why would you?”
“Well, given past experiences, I figured you were about ten seconds from tossing her onto the table and stripping her naked. Or maybe stripping her naked, and then throwing her on the table. Little unsure on that part. But I knew the end result would be something seared into my memories for the rest of time.”
Simon shot Mercy a grin as she turned pink. Brant was a rather interesting shade of red as well, likely more pissed than embarrassed, though. “Just saying it like it is. We all know how you two are, and you asked me over here for a reason, so spill it so I can get back to helping Vic with whatever insane project he’s dreamed up today.”
Brant really didn’t look amused, but he did seem to agree getting down to business was best since he let Mercy go and faced Simon across the table. “I need a favor,” he said.
“Gee, like I didn’t guess that from the phone call I got.”
“Are you always this much of a smart ass? Rhys never once mentioned you were a smart ass.”
“Rhys doesn’t know everything about me, or any of the guys really. But he does know I have a tendency to be a smart ass when people behave like I’m an idiot that needs to be led around by the nose. Spit it out already, Brant, or I’m heading out and you can talk someone else into being the sucker to watch over Megan.”
Snorting at the stunned look he got from Mercy, and the barely there flinch from Brant, Simon sat back in his chair. “Really, you two? Anyone that’s been in this town for more than an hour, and pays even the slightest bit of attention, knows that something’s going down. The fact that I happen to know several people out in this neck of the woods has allowed me to draw my own conclusions.”
“Like what?” Brant asked suspiciously.
“Well,” he drawled slowly. “Like the fact she’s not actually a stripper. She’s an undercover DEA agent working on a case that happens to have deep roots in Massey. I know she’s been digging around looking at the mayor. She’s also looking to see what she can find in regards to drugs being funneled into and through Massey. She’s close, but she’s missing something. Otherwise, she’d already be out and on vacation instead of going into the club every single night to shake her nearly naked ass for singles.” Simon shot Mercy a quick look before focusing on Brant again. “I know you’re DEA, you’re also the agent in charge down here since being reassigned so you could be closer to Mercy. You have a number of big busts under your belt, several commendations, and narrowly avoided getting stuck on the hook from another bust when some wanker took a case from you and fucked it up royally. Got his dad, your boss at the time, fired as I recall.”
“Close enough,” Brant muttered.
“You can’t go in to keep an eye on her since everyone in town knows your face. That and the fact you’re married to her twin sister. Might raise more than a few brows, and it’s not something you want getting around. Plus, given the smarts of the folks in Massey, they’d soon clue into the fact that you weren’t there to watch the girls but because of your job. Questions would then be raised, and if spoken of in the wrong place, the whole operation would go tits up, as it were.”
Brant grunted at him, and crossed his arms over his chest.
Taking it as a sign to continue, Simon took a sip of his coffee. “Good brew, by the way, Mercy,” he said. “So you want me, a single guy, new to town, to go in and keep an eye on her. It won’t seem too strange if I’m hanging around, especially given the fact that Crank’s out of town visiting relatives, and Vic’s making kissy faces at his bride. I’m odd man out, and need to find something to fill my time with at night. How am I doing now?”
“Rhys never mentioned you were practically a mind reader either.”
“I’m not, but I know people. I’ve also taken a few behavioral courses from the Feds over the years. I also have degree in psychology. Never put it to any use, but I figured I could always use it if the military didn’t work out, or if I needed a career when I got out. I watch people, take note of what they say, and what they don’t say. Then I start adding it all together.”
“Well, you’re right on pretty much everything,” Brant told him.
“So what am I wrong on?” Simon asked.
“Not much, except the premise I’m asking you to take on. Given you are new to town, and have been seen with Megan a couple of times, I want you to go in as her new boyfriend. Unhappy with her working the club, but since she’s bringing in the big bucks and enjoys the money, you’re there to keep an eye on her while she does work.”
“Uh-huh,” Simon said. “And you’ve cleared this with Megan, right?”
The look on Brant’s face said it all. “Not yet,” Brant told him. “Wanted to see if you were up for the task first.”
Snorting, Simon shook his head, and closed his eyes to rub at his lids. “She’s going to shoot you, you do realize that, right?”
“Probably,” Brant said. Oddly, the man seemed pretty happy about the thought. Idiot.

A few weeks ago I hosted Lea Bronsen and her Evernight Publishing release, The Perfect Shoot. If you missed that post, you can find it here. I’d had the privilege to review of love scene in that story prior to publication and it was scorching hot, so I’m well aware of the fact that Lea can burn up the pages. That is why I’m thrilled to help her promote her newest erotica release, High-Risk Fever, from Decadent Publishing. I’ve got it uploaded on my Nook as I write this and am eager to dive into it… as you should be too. Without further ado, please welcome Lea back!
Thank you so much for hosting me! I’m incredibly happy to share this new release. I started it in response to an erotica anthology call in the spring of 2013. The antho didn’t happen, but I continued writing, broadening my genre spectrum from hetero erotica to GLBT and ménage. Though I’d already told the story of a gay boy in my debut novel, describing full-on gay acts and choreographing steamy foursome scenes so long they spanned over several chapters was a new experience and quite the challenge! *laughs* I hope you enjoy this wild ride of mine as well J
Two young and indecently handsome bicyclists visit a village in the French Alps during the summer holidays. Forced by a raging storm to spend the night at the local bed & breakfast, they invade the quiet lives of hostess Anne and her husband, Brian.
A power outage plunges the foursome into darkness, encouraging new liaisons to form, life-long secrets to be unveiled, and steamy lessons to be learned. But once the storm moves on, can the four find a balance and resume their normal lives?
Breathing deeply to calm her nerves, she approached the unfortunate bicyclist and bent to grab his handlebar.
Surely by pure coincidence, one of his gloved hands landed on hers, curling strong fingers around her small ones and helping her pull until the bike stood upright between them.
Still, even as he stood on his feet, his hand lingered, holding hers firmly on the hard-plastic handle.
Anne looked up into his face, seeing him for the first time. How in the world had she missed such a jewel earlier? Among tanned, Latin features, a pair of black diamonds sparkling with mischief stared back without shame. His long, black locks were swept back in a ponytail, revealing a single golden earring in his left lobe. Large chest muscles heaved beneath a tight, pink spandex shirt, begging to be caressed by a woman’s hand, and black chest hairs peeked from the open collar.
Unable to believe the seductive intensity he exuded, she sucked in a breath and held it while the world narrowed. Her head buzzed. “What?”
“What?” The beautiful bicyclist used the same low tone, his full lips forming a teasing grin inches from her face. He was so near she could smell his hot breath. Intoxicating.
How had he come so close? And how long before her husband noticed?
Thankfully, Brian’s calm, indifferent voice rose behind her, addressing the blond bicyclist. “So you’re looking for a place to stay?”
“Yeah. We’ve already asked in several different villages on our way here.”
Anne tugged at her trapped hand and took a demonstrative step back. “Please.”
“Oh.” Feigning surprise, the dark beauty lifted an eyebrow and removed his hand, allowing her to retrieve hers. “Sorry,” he added, rolling a thick R with his tongue, keeping his lips parted a second too long. A move so deliberately naughty, her stomach knotted with need.
As she retreated, he studied her face with a grin, arrogance and amusement gleaming in his dark eyes, before turning his attention to the two other men.
Blood pulsing in her temples, she copied his movement.

ABOUT LEA BRONSEN:
Lea has always had a vivid imagination and written since an early age. Now juggling life as a mother, full-time worker, and thriving author, she struggles to find any reading time – but when she opens a book, she wants it fast, hot, and edgy! Striving to give her own stories the same intensity, she currently divides her writing time between psychological thriller, erotic contemporary romance, and dripping erotica.
Look who is back with a new Evernight Publishing release! That’s right, Raven McAllan is here with Double Jackson. Welcome, Raven!
Thank you so much for inviting me here today, to brag about my latest book. Double Jackson.
I’m saying brag, because I’m oh so happy Jack and Coll’s story was accepted. It’s always a nail biting time, waiting and wondering if your babies are loved by someone else as well.
Luckily they were and this is the result…
Jackson Carrick at Tits and Bum Club—gay in more ways than one.
As morning wake up calls go, those damning headlines made for a rude awakening. The renowned actor is a one man guy, thank you very much, so why would a doppelganger set out to discredit him, and more importantly, who is it?
As the mystery unravels and loyalties are tested, Jackson has to rely on his husband, housekeeper, and friends to keep his reputation from swirling down the drain.
Fortunately, Jackson’s husband Collum knows just how to keep his man from worrying. Only one thing to do when you’re stuck inside waiting for news—lots of mind-blowing sex.
Now a wee teaser…
Jack pulled his t-shirt and jeans off and threw them into the general direction of the dirty laundry basket. They hung over the edge like a drunk visiting Huey. “I’ll put them in properly in a sec.” He stretched his arms above his head and twisted his body to get rid of some of the aches and pains.
Coll made a noise somewhere between a moan and that of a strangled rabbit.
Jack turned in his direction and smiled wickedly. His cock was erect, and jutted proudly out from his body. Coll salivated and cleared his throat as he worked his mouth to reduce the sudden dryness in it. His own cock was erect to the point of pain, and his pre-cum spread down its length and onto his balls.
“You said something?” Jack about purred the words.
Coll found his voice. “Bags, I dibs to go cocking.”
“Cooking? Feel free.”
Coll sniggered. Jack had taken up an Atlas pose and flexed his muscles. Then he dropped one hand to his cock and stroked it ever so slowly from tip to base, stretching and sliding the skin over the rigid core.
“Depends if you think we can generate enough heat?” Coll kicked the covers back until they landed on the floor and copied Jack’s hand movements on his own cock.
“Cock to cock? Mixing all the ingredients together?” Jack said in a gravelly tone. “Oh, why not. And no spoons are needed. Hands are best for mixing.”
“Tongues add more liquid?” Coll said as Jack crawled up the bed next to him and lay on his side so they were almost cock to cock.
“Definitely. Mind you, I think you might need to be head chef tonight. Except, You have to get up in an hour or so.”
“I’m up now,” Coll said. “Wide awake and waving hello.” He moved his cock from side to side. “I think we better start mixing right away or the er, liquid might leak out and be wasted.”
Jack roared with laughter. What a good idea. I’m knackered. Do you want to direct?” He kissed Coll on the cheek and trailed his tongue downward to lave each nipple in turn.
Coll sighed in pleasure. The tiny sucking action and the nips that followed sent his arousal higher and his pre-cum gathering on his cock faster than before.
“My turn.” He bent his head and Jack held his cock up. “Please, love. Kiss my cock and then fuck my ass. I need to feel you in me.”
“That’s an offer I can’t refuse.” Coll sucked in the end of Jack’s cock and tasted the salty-sweet pre-cum as it coated his tongue. He grazed his teeth along the shaft, tight enough for Jack to hiss and moan. Then he let Jack’s dick slide out of his mouth with a noisy plop.
“On your back, then.” He stretched his hand out and fumbled in the cabinet for lube and condom, as Jack rolled over with alacrity.
It took Coll scant seconds to rubber up and coat the condom and the entrance to Jack’s anus with lube.
“Need you more.”
Coll inched forward on his knees and pulled Jack where he wanted him.
“Put your ankles on my neck.”
Jack obliged and Coll wasted no time to inch his cock into Jack’s dark and welcoming hole.
“More. I’m ready.” Jack groaned the words and lifted his ass off the mattress. “Fill me, for fuck’s sake, bloody fill me now.”
“My … pleasure.” Coll panted the words and pushed past the ring of muscles that guarded the entrance and filled Jack. He withdrew almost to the head of his cock and pressed forward again.
Jack had his cock in both hands and set a hot hard pace as he fisted himself. Coll watched through glazed eyes and matched the rhythm. His cock ached from the need to spill his cum and his body was on fire. As Coll watched, Jack stiffened and his hand movements became even more frenzied. He threw back his head and shouted.
“Co … ll.”
It was enough. Coll let himself go and fell over the edge into a hard fast and fucking climax.

I’m giddy with glee because I have Raven McAllan on my blog today and well, she’s just so fantastic! She’s here to introduce us to her new Totally Bound series – Diomhair – and the first book entitled Secrets Shared. Take it away, Raven!
Thanks for letting me ‘borrow’ your blog today Jessica.
I’m really excited about this series. Diomhair. It’s Gaelic for Secret and according to my Gaelic speaking friend you pronounce it ‘Jeever’.
Diomhair is a renovated Scottish Castle set somewhere not too many miles from the ‘central belt’, and on the edge of the highlands. There’s actually a ruined castle near where I live that was my inspiration for the castle after it burned down years before the story starts.
Jess and her twin Jeff, are co-owners, except Jess has no idea what it’s used for…
Secret. What’s happens there stays there.
It doesn’t matter whether you want to learn or teach, be in control or controlled, Diomhair could be the place for you.
The ruined castle deep in the Scottish countryside had been rebuilt into an exclusive, private, BDSM club, where people could learn about and enjoy the lifestyle.
Not everyone approved, and not everyone appreciated it, but for those who did and fit the criteria, it was somewhere to go and be themselves, relax and play.
And if you found love there, your own perfect match, well that could
Book One. Secrets Shared
Jess is looking forward to her night out. Anticipation turns to dismay when she finds out she is being taken to a BDSM club. After a disastrous experience in her past, Jess wants nothing to do with the life style.
David is doing a favour for a friend, and he is instantly attracted to the fiery Jess. The experienced Dom recognizes Jess’s bluster for what it is—Fear. There is no doubt in his mind that Jess is submissive, but getting her to accept that fact will take some doing.
When Jess does give into her secret desires, can she truly let go, and be the sub David is looking for, or will she hold onto her secrets?
David is determined to help her, but it is up to Jess to accept. Will she break his heart or can they find a common ground from which to build a relationship.
At Diomhair you never know what will happen in the end.
She leant back against the cushions. Her diatribe surprised her. She’d known she was bitter, but had truly imagined she’d come to accept the curve balls thrown at her. Evidently not. Jess wriggled and found herself enveloped by the settee.
Yeah I was right, too soft to get up with grace.
“Life rarely is. Fair,” he added. “Nevertheless, you are out of order. Who is to say what’s right and what isn’t? You like sex?”
His intense stare bore into her. There was no way she couldn’t answer him. Heat filled her body, but she nodded, somewhat puzzled. Why did he need to know that, now?
“What do you mean how?” She’d bet her skin and hair were the same shade. “Like most people do, I guess. You know one of each or two of the same if that’s your fancy, and in and out. That sort of stuff.”
“Hmm.” He stroked her arm. The hairs stood to attention. If they had voices they’d be shouting more, more and me next. Jess shivered.
“So it’s always been vanilla, no contemplation of bondage or blindfolds?” he asked her in a mild tone. “You said one of each first, so no same sex fantasies? No threesomes or voyeurism? Strange after you admitted you and Kath had once been a couple. No more, pure basics now, eh? That’s your sex life in a nutshell is it?”
Her heartbeat faltered and she swallowed, trying to work some wetness into her mouth. He made it sound boring, not safe.
“In, out and roll over?” David smiled. “That seems weird to me.”
What does he know? “Yes, well, no and don’t go on. It’s what I want, so sue me. Nice, ordinary,”
“Boring.” David interjected.
She glared. “As I was saying, nice, ordinary, safe sex, thank you. Yes, there was a time when I had a female lover, and no, I don’t want one now. Nor do I want whipped, flogged, bound or gagged. Waxed, scored, scratched or whatever else goes on. Not. For. Me.” She knew her breathing was choppy, and it wasn’t just from fear.
David nipped her wrist. The pain was unexpected and Jess squealed. “That bloody hurt.” She pushed his hand away and rubbed her skin. “What the fuck did you do that for?” He was seriously heading for an assault charge if he wasn’t careful.
“Because I haven’t got time to put you over my lap and give you the spanking you deserve for lying. Open and honest, remember.”
Oh, she remembered only too well, and he could go fly. “Well if you want to go spank someone, go find yourself a sub, mister. This is as open and honest as you’ll get. What the fuck are you doing?” Jess took his hand and moved it from where he’d been tracing erotic circles around her breast. “Listen, mate, I don’t subscribe to the three strikes and you’re out. I subscribe to the touch me and I’ll sue you school of thought. You’re out of order. Don’t touch me.” Her voice rose and ended on what to her annoyance was a sob not a defiant shout. “I cannot take this.” Jess put her hand onto the cushioned seat and tried to lever herself upward. The sofa didn’t cooperate, and she settled down again and glared at him.
He grinned. “Even my furniture is against you, eh? C’mere.” He pulled her close and hugged her. Not in any way sexual but a nice comforting hug. To her amazement, Jess relaxed. For the first time in longer than she dare think about, she let herself be held. She didn’t shake, didn’t feel sick and didn’t pull away. It was nice. Of course it wouldn’t last. Jess hated the way he’d lulled her into a false sense of security. She turned her head and let her cheek rest on the fine, soft silk of his shirt. He stroked her hair and Jess was nigh on ready to purr. Her nipples puckered and she was darned sure more than her underwear would be damp. If this is him not coming on to me, heaven help me if he does. And let me pray there’s no tell- tale stain on my trousers. I’d die of shame.
“So who hurt you?” David used his free arm to hold her across the shoulders, and kissed the nape of her neck. He spoke casually, as if he was asking her the time.
All of her contentment dropped away like a stone flung into a river. She struggled against him.
“No one, just you. Let me go, you asshole, you’re hurting me.”

As most of you now know, every week the very talented Sandra Bunino hosts the Mid-Week Tease where several amazing authors share a snippet of a new release, a backlisted titled or a WIP. Aside from having the opportunity to share a little part of my own work, I get to hop from site to site reading other authors’ works. It’s a lot of fun and I’m proud to be a part of it when I can.
As an author, there are times when characters come to you in such a strong manner that you just can’t seem to concentrate on anything besides telling their story. Conversations and scenes play out in your head constantly and if you’re like me, you are scribbling on anything you can get your hands on so you don’t lose the scene or words or emotions. Matt and Gracelyn’s story was one of those times for me.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the billionaire story where the hero falls in love with a damsel and sweeps her off her feet. Or the bad boy that catches the girl’s eye and turns out to have a soft side. But these two wanted something different. These were two individuals plagued by the same tragedy… the loss of the same person. Matt and Gracelyn were in-laws. Gracelyn was married to Matt’s brother, who was killed on the job as a firefighter. Gracelyn and Matt leaned on each other in dealing with his death and a great love developed from there. But loving your brother’s wife, even if he is gone, is not easy.
This April 25th will be one year that Matt and Gracelyn’s story was published by Evernight Publishing and I pleased to share a snippet of their tale with you today. This is the end of a hot love scene where Gracelyn comes to Matt’s house to yell at him for embarrassing her at the pub in front of her co-workers. You can check out that scene here as it was a Mid-Week Tease back in August 2013. These two have struggled with their feelings with each other and this scene is a breaking point for Matt. Matt takes her against the side of his truck in his garage.
“Look at me, Gracelyn. I want to watch you as you come all over my cock.” Her eyes opened at his words. She looked at him through her lashes with a desire that almost made him come apart. Without losing eye contact, he thrust into her hard again and again. “You feel fucking amazing. God! Amazing! Come with me, baby!”
He grasped her hips and thrust into her hard. Her pussy gripped him tight, milking him and she cried out. Her eyes never left his. Another thrust and he glided over that cliff with her. A growl escaped his chest as he emptied himself inside her and his head collapsed on her chest pressing delicate kisses along her skin.
They stood like that for several minutes. Her legs slipped from around his hips and he eased out of her. He placed her feet to the ground and adjusted his shorts. Her head fell back against the truck as she straightened her dress. Her chest heaved from her breathing.
“I’m not apologizing,” Gracelyn said softly. Matt lifted his head and pressed his forehead to hers. He looked into her blue eyes.
“I’m not looking for an apology,” Matt whispered. He kissed her softly on the lips. “What am I going to do with you, Gracey?” His hand grazed the side of her face. “You’re driving me crazy.”
“And you… me,” she whispered. A slight smile spread across her lips. “I thought if I came over here and fucked you that I could get you out of my system. That I could stop my body from craving you… stop my mind from thinking about you.”
“Did it work?” he asked. His thumb glided over her bottom lip.
“No!” she said with a laugh. He loved the sound of her laugh. “That was so incredible! All it did was make me want you more.” Her tongue flicked out at his thumb. He slid his thumb between her lips and into her mouth. Her lips closed around it and sucked it. He moaned softly.
“Do you want to try again to get me out of your system?” he asked. He pulled his thumb out of her mouth and pressed his lips hard against hers. His tongue pushed through her lips and swept into her mouth. She moaned into him. Her body pressed once again against his. He was already hard. “We can try all night if we have to.” He smiled. He wanted this woman. She turned him inside out. She made him feel things he never felt before. He knew by taking her into his bed that he had made the decision to find a way to make this work no matter what. He could not make love to her again and then walk away. His heart could not take it. He could not take it.
That is ending to one of my favorite scenes in the story. I hope you enjoyed it! You can find In Flames at the following distribution sites if you’re interested in reading the whole story of Matt and Gracelyn.

Today I’d like to welcome Beth D. Carter to the Spicy Butterfly Garden. She’s here today introducing us to her new release from Evernight Publishing entitled Petty Thief of Hearts and it sounds thrilling. Check it out and welcome, Beth!
Jessie Ciottie has been in protective custody for almost a year. She’s due to give testimony in a few days but suddenly, her location is found. She goes on the run, determined to testify but when men come hunting for her at the train station, it’s a petty thief that hides her.
The electricity is instant between Jessie and Ethan, and he promises to get her to the courthouse on time. But the path between her and safety is dangerous, and Ethan is the only thing that stands between her and a bullet.
Here’s an excerpt:
A man fell into the seat next to her, reeking of alcohol and mumbling under his breath as he bumped into her. Jessie pushed him away from her hard, trying to not gag on the stench, and she felt a slight pressure on her lap before the man stumbled away and in that instant she knew he’d just pilfered the last of her cash.
“Hey!” she yelled and gave chase.
The man suddenly straightened and the stinky jacket he’d been wearing fell away and she was no longer looking at a decrepit drunk. She was staring at young man, probably around her age, staring at her with piercing dark blue eyes and a face that artists would kill to sculpt. Jessie’s breath hitched in her throat as she looked at what possibly was the most handsome man she’d ever seen. He was tall, streamlined, with a mop of black hair and dark brows. Something happened to her, probably the last of her brain cells popping from stupidity, but her body flushed hot as a heaviness invaded her limbs. Her nipples pebbled and she saw his gaze glance down at them before lifting to give her a sardonic half grin, revealing a charming dimple.
And then he turned and ran, leaving with her money.
No fucking way!
Jessie shook off the strange erotic lethargy that had gripped her and dashed into hot pursuit. Without that money she couldn’t get to Philadelphia. She wouldn’t be able to testify and the monster might walk. She couldn’t let that happen! She wanted her life back!
I like writing about the very ordinary girl thrust into extraordinary circumstances, so my heroines will probably never be lawyers, doctors or corporate highrollers. I try to write characters who aren’t cookie cutters and push myself to write complicated situations that I have no idea how to resolve, forcing me to think outside the box. I love writing characters who are real, complex and full of flaws, heroes and heroines who find redemption through love.
I’ve been pretty fortunate in life to experience some amazing things. I’ve lived in France, traveled throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand. I am a mom to an amazing little boy. I live in Los Angeles, surrounded by friends and family. I hate washing dishes but I love cooking. I hate washing clothes but I love wearing them. Writing my bio is difficult because I never know what to say so I hope you like this one. My favorite color is red but I look best in black (it’s slimming). I hate people who don’t pick up their dog’s crap in public places, people who don’t use turn signals, and I really hate people who are rude and condescending. I especially hate discrimination in all and every form. And although I love holding a book in my hand, I absolutely adore my ereader, whom I’ve named Ruby. I love to hear from readers so I’ve made it really easy to find me on the web: https://twitter.com/BethDCarter https://www.facebook.com/bethdcarterauthor
