“Yes, sir.” I smirked then turned to grab the lube from my bag I’d thrown on the luggage rack, my breath stuttering out in surprise as I heard Carson move. Totally Tantalizing Tuesday – Tim McGraw

Happy Totally Tantalizing Tuesday! Sitting at a stop light contemplating who would be this week’s Tantalizer, Southern Girl by Tim McGraw came on the radio and I started swaying to the music and singing along. Then I started reminiscing about the last Tim McGraw concert I attended and how freaking fabulous he looked in his white jeans and white (almost see through) t-shirt. And well… that sealed the deal! Anyone that knows me knows I’m a country girl at heart and Tim is one of my all time favorite cowboys! There are few men that pull off a cowboy hat like he does! Enjoy!

Jessica: Thanks! Just bought it a few weeks ago. We love it. Needed something comfortable but sturdy with the kids.

Matt: I’m going to have to talk to Gracey. We’re in need of a new couch and I really like this. It’s firm where it needs to be but soft and comfortable all the same. Kind of like a good woman. *he winks*

Jessica : *blushing a little at his statement* Speaking of Gracey, how is she?

Matt: She’s fantastic, as usual.

His golden eyes get that glassy look of someone thinking of about the person they are head over heels in love with.

Jessica: *clears throat*

Matt: Sorry. Got lost when you asked about Gracey. We had a great morning.

He gives a naughty smile and I sigh. Lucky girl!

Matt: Anyway, she’s busy at work at the court house and Josh and Jenna are both in spring soccer, so we’re both hopping after school and on Saturday mornings with practice and games. Plus, Brian kicked some serious ass in football last fall and has already started the spring training for next season.

Jessica: So lots of family activities?

Matt: Absolutely.

Jessica: I know your son, Brian, took things a little hard initially. Has he adjusted to things?

Matt: He held out hope for several years that his mom and I would get back together. I think a lot of kids of divorce do that, especially if they’re young when it happens. But he’s known Gracelyn his entire life and he already loved her. He’s come around.

Jessica: Good to hear. Kids are so resilient. And Josh and Jenna? How are they doing with you as a father figure instead of just Uncle Matt?

Matt: It was a little easier adjustment for them because I’ve been around regularly since Chad’s passing.

His voice cracks and he dips his head. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he inhales deeply and looks at me.

Matt: I’m sorry. I still sometimes get choked up when I talk about Chad. I’ve come a long way since that day, but it still hurts. I miss my brother every day. I’m trying to help Gracey raise his kids in the best possible way, so they know how much their father loved them. Some day, I hope it all makes sense to them.

Jessica: *a little misty-eyed* You never have to apologize to me.

Matt: Thanks *smiles softly*

Jessica: So are you and Gracey still in the “honeymoon” phase?

Matt: I’d like to hope that we’ll always be in the “honeymoon” phase.

Jessica: That’d be nice, wouldn’t it?

Matt: Definitely. But yes, we’re still in the “can’t keep our hands off each other” stage. And I love it. I love being around her, being with her.

Jessica: You know this conversation is about what makes you a great book boyfriend, so we’re going to have to get into some of the nitty-gritty of what makes you tick.

Matt: *laughs* Like what? My favorite position during sex?

Jessica: That sounds like a great place to start. So, what is it?

Matt: *laughs* In all honesty, I do love all positions. I love sex! What can I say? But my favorite position is one where I can look into Gracelyn’s eyes when we’re making love. I love watching her come apart all around. That gets me off more than the act itself sometimes. Doesn’t necessarily have to be missionary though there’s nothing wrong with that. Matt: Eyes and smile, first. You can tell a lot about a person by the expressiveness in their eyes and the depth of their smile. Women particularly. I’ve loved Gracey’s blue eyes from the moment I met her, back when she was dating Chad. I told him the first time he introduced her to me that he’d better hang on to her and it had a lot to do with the warmth in her eyes and her genuine smile.

Jessica: Awwww! You’re such a sweetheart!

He smiles at me.

Jessica: And once you get past the face?

Matt: I’m an ass man. *grins* Don’t get me wrong, I don’t shy away from a woman’s breasts, but I love watching Gracelyn walk around in a tight pair of jeans that hug her backside. God! Matt: I run about ten to fifteen miles per week and I hit the gym at the station house pretty hard. Plus, we have regular training.

Jessica: Will you show us a little bit of your washboard abs?

Matt: Are you trying to get me in trouble?

Jessica: I’ve already spoken to Gracey and she’s okayed every question thus far, including this one. She knows you’re hers, so she doesn’t mind showing you off.

He stands up on my plush honey colored rug, his dark brown work boots contrast nicely. His cheeks flush a little as if he’s embarrassed.

Jessica: Are you embarrassed, Matt?

Matt: Maybe a little.

Jessica: Let’s go in the backyard and make this like a nature shot. A shirtless shot of you in my living room isn’t as sexy as a rugged outdoor shot.

We both start laughing.

Matt: Seriously?

Jessica: Yes! I mean you did pose for the 2014 Northeast Ohio Firemen’s Calendar. This should be a walk in the park. You do want to win best book boyfriend, right?

Matt: Of course, I do! *winks*

We walk out my back door and into my backyard, which is shrouded by a woody preserve. He lifts his shirt. Good God! He is ripped and sexy as fuck! Gracelyn is a lucky lady! I snap a picture with my phone.

After I snap the picture, he puts his shirt back down and walks over to hug me.

Matt: *looking at his photo on my phone* Do you think that picture will win it for me?

Jessica: It should definitely put you in the running, Matty. Thanks so much!

We walk back into my house. I pour us each a glass of iced tea and we chill out for a bit talking about life and such. Matt Riley, he really is one fucking cool guy!

I’ve always had a fascination with the Titanic. It probably has a lot to do with living so close to Belfast, where she was built. One of the great things about being a writer is you can pick any time, any place in which to set a story, so it was always on the hot list of topics I wanted to cover. As ever, my version of that fateful voyage had to have a paranormal twist, and some superhot sexy times!

“I find the setting perfect for a romantic affair. Glamorous liners bound for faraway places, carrying young men with fire in their bellies. Why it’s enough to get any young lady’s pulse racing.” She ran a fingertip down his white shirt to distract him from his questioning. That slight contact with the man she loved was enough to start a fiery lust consuming her from the inside out.

“Madeleine—” The ragged manner in which Joe addressed her didn’t sound like a scolding, or an attempt to stop her.

“Shh!” A finger on his lips and a coy smile was all it took for him to discard his gentlemanly manners and let his passion take hold.

He was deceptively masterful in the seduction stakes. His firm lips staked their claim with a series of breath-taking kisses that almost made her mourn the time they had wasted thus far in their chaste courtship.

Crushed against the rough fabric of his jacket—Madeleine’s nipples hardened beneath the thin silk of her green dress—sensitized and begging to be noticed. Joe didn’t disappoint. “You deserve more than a rushed fumble by the docks, Maddy. When the time comes, I want it to be something special, a memory to be cherished forever. Though I don’t know how I’ll get through these next weeks without even kissing you again.”

Joe rested his forehead against hers. His was beaded with sweat from the effort of his restraint.

Not on my account, she wanted to scream, but the moment had passed. She adjusted her clothes.

He behaved as though the last ten minutes had not happened and picked up the conversation regarding his departure. But all she wanted to do was move farther into his embrace, make this night last forever.

“Will you wave me off when I leave?”

As much as he deserved a teary farewell, she shook her head. “It’s not my place.”

She wouldn’t encroach on the intimate family moment which accompanied his every journey. That was their time. This was hers.

“Let’s say our goodbyes now.” Madeleine stood on tiptoe to offer up her lips.

This time, Joe’s kiss was a slow exploration mapping out the contours of her lips, as though he were memorizing her taste. That sensuous perusal finally eroded the jaded view she harboured for the male species. Joe didn’t demand, simply took what she willingly gave, and he returned it with love. He respected her, cherished her, and, for the first time in decades, Madeleine let herself trust.

Mid-Week Tease – In Flames – One Year Publishversary #MWTease

As most of you now know, every week the very talented Sandra Bunino hosts the Mid-Week Tease where several amazing authors share a snippet of a new release, a backlisted titled or a WIP. Aside from having the opportunity to share a little part of my own work, I get to hop from site to site reading other authors’ works. It’s a lot of fun and I’m proud to be a part of it when I can.

As an author, there are times when characters come to you in such a strong manner that you just can’t seem to concentrate on anything besides telling their story. Conversations and scenes play out in your head constantly and if you’re like me, you are scribbling on anything you can get your hands on so you don’t lose the scene or words or emotions. Matt and Gracelyn’s story was one of those times for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the billionaire story where the hero falls in love with a damsel and sweeps her off her feet. Or the bad boy that catches the girl’s eye and turns out to have a soft side. But these two wanted something different. These were two individuals plagued by the same tragedy… the loss of the same person. Matt and Gracelyn were in-laws. Gracelyn was married to Matt’s brother, who was killed on the job as a firefighter. Gracelyn and Matt leaned on each other in dealing with his death and a great love developed from there. But loving your brother’s wife, even if he is gone, is not easy.

This April 25th will be one year that Matt and Gracelyn’s story was published by Evernight Publishing and I pleased to share a snippet of their tale with you today. This is the end of a hot love scene where Gracelyn comes to Matt’s house to yell at him for embarrassing her at the pub in front of her co-workers. You can check out that scene here as it was a Mid-Week Tease back in August 2013. These two have struggled with their feelings with each other and this scene is a breaking point for Matt. Matt takes her against the side of his truck in his garage.

“Look at me, Gracelyn. I want to watch you as you come all over my cock.” Her eyes opened at his words. She looked at him through her lashes with a desire that almost made him come apart. Without losing eye contact, he thrust into her hard again and again. “You feel fucking amazing. God! Amazing! Come with me, baby!”

He grasped her hips and thrust into her hard. Her pussy gripped him tight, milking him and she cried out. Her eyes never left his. Another thrust and he glided over that cliff with her. A growl escaped his chest as he emptied himself inside her and his head collapsed on her chest pressing delicate kisses along her skin.

They stood like that for several minutes. Her legs slipped from around his hips and he eased out of her. He placed her feet to the ground and adjusted his shorts. Her head fell back against the truck as she straightened her dress. Her chest heaved from her breathing.

“I’m not apologizing,” Gracelyn said softly. Matt lifted his head and pressed his forehead to hers. He looked into her blue eyes.

“I’m not looking for an apology,” Matt whispered. He kissed her softly on the lips. “What am I going to do with you, Gracey?” His hand grazed the side of her face. “You’re driving me crazy.”

“And you… me,” she whispered. A slight smile spread across her lips. “I thought if I came over here and fucked you that I could get you out of my system. That I could stop my body from craving you… stop my mind from thinking about you.”

“Did it work?” he asked. His thumb glided over her bottom lip.

“No!” she said with a laugh. He loved the sound of her laugh. “That was so incredible! All it did was make me want you more.” Her tongue flicked out at his thumb. He slid his thumb between her lips and into her mouth. Her lips closed around it and sucked it. He moaned softly.

“Do you want to try again to get me out of your system?” he asked. He pulled his thumb out of her mouth and pressed his lips hard against hers. His tongue pushed through her lips and swept into her mouth. She moaned into him. Her body pressed once again against his. He was already hard. “We can try all night if we have to.” He smiled. He wanted this woman. She turned him inside out. She made him feel things he never felt before. He knew by taking her into his bed that he had made the decision to find a way to make this work no matter what. He could not make love to her again and then walk away. His heart could not take it. He could not take it.

Totally Tantalizing Tuesday – Christopher Meloni aka Detective Stabler ;)

It’s that time of the week again! Yes! It’s Tuesday, so I must tantalize you with a man that has made me go weak in the knees for years. I’ve watched Law & Order SVU since its beginning and even though I’ve seen every episode made, I periodically watch the reruns on TNT or some other channel that plays the series in syndication. What has kept me going all these years? Well, I do think it’s a good show. Aren’t we all fascinated with crime and the law? But I will also admit… Christopher Meloni has always been a big reason I stuck by SVU. I loved him as Detective Stabler! Well, I just love him!

Those of you that know me, know I typically go for guys younger than me (I’m in my late 30s… shhhh!), so for me to get all giddy over a man that is more than a decade older than me means he must be pretty special. And he is! He’s ruggedly sexy in that way that only some men can pull off. Whether in a suit, jeans and a t-shirt or no shirt at all, he’s fantastic!

He’s charismatic with his piercing blue eyes and tough guy stance.

I knew I had to write her story from the minute we meet her in book one of the Projects Series, The Orgasm Project. In that book she sets up her best friend with her brothers. As far as superheroes go, I’m usually a Batman kind of girl. Let’s Talk About Sex & The Conquering Series

To go along with LeTeisha Newton’s Wednesday visit to the Spicy Butterfly Garden, her co-author to the series The Conquering, Lillian Mackenzie Rhine is here today to continue giving us insight into their new Evernight Publishing series. Their first book, Conquering Theana is already out. Lillian gives us some insight into the series all the while talking about one of our most favorite topics… sex. Welcome, Lillian! Sex is a vital part of life and the living. Intercourse and procreation populates the world, so it is a subject that we all can relate to. In nearly every piece I have written so far, sex and intimate experiences are a
vital part of the plot. That does not mean that I am an erotica writer however I do like to show how sexual situations can sometimes cause a shift in the storyline. In my new, co-written wolf shifter series, The Conquering Series, my fellow co-author, LeTeisha Newton, and I cover a lot of different styles of sex
from ménage to even the tough subjects of sexual abuse. In this post, I will cover the three different styles of sex present in the first three books of the series.

Conquering Theana (Book 1) – Menage: According to Merriam-Webster, a ménage is a domestic arrangement or household. Nothing sexual there. When a lot of people hear the term “ménage” they think of “ménage a trois” which also is not a sexual term surprisingly enough. Its actual meaning is household of three but when it comes to sexuality, it means three sexual partners having sex together as one unit. M/M/M, F/F/F, M/M/F, M/FM, F/F/M. An actual ménage can go from 3 members to more than 3
which takes us into the orgy arena but for our purposes in Book 1, it is a trio and the category is M/F/M.

Writing ménages can be challenging at times especially if there is more than one ménage scene. As a writer, you want to make sure that every member of the party has a spotlighted roll in the sex and with hands, cocks, pussys, and mouths everywhere, it can be a bit taxing. In the case of Book 1, it worked in our favor that she took one ménage scene (the initial scene) and I took the final ménage scene. Sharing is caring right?

Conquering Camden (Book 2) – Dom/sub: With this particular sex genre I am going to speak from opinion only versus fact. Dom/sub is a very broad arena. It can include BDSM or not. To be a Dominant,
one must be able to overpower their submissive either physically, sexually, mentally, and/or emotionally. In the case of our Book 2, our hero dominates his sub for the simple fact of letting her release her control of every situation, hence allowing him to carry the brunt of her stresses. It is really a caring relationship and most will argue the biggest bond you can have with a lover because you must ultimately trust someone to allow them to dominate you.

Writing this particular type of sex was a challenge for me because it can get technical at times with
terminology and certain tools needed. Again, my co-author and I meshed well for the simple fact that she was able to bring the technical aspect and I could hit on the emotional aspect of the sex.

Conquering Convel (Book 3) – Fetish/Voyeurism: I placed “fetish” in front of the term “voyeurism” instead of Dom/sub because, again in my opinion, Dom/sub is a lifestyle where voyeurism is for sexual
titillation in a lot of cases. To be a “watcher” is a very interesting fetish because in all actuality, we all have a bit of voyeurism in us all. In Book 3, our main character is constantly looking at the world from the
inside of his mind. He is very self-critical and it gets him into a lot of issues of insecurity but he is an alpha so he must play the role. When it comes to mating, he has a thing for admiring the female physique, some more than others. When in close, intimate quarters it can prove almost uncontrollable for his libido.

Writing about a voyeur means there is a lot of internal thought processes going on. A lot of fantasies and
obsessions. The fun part is writing the scene when his conquest realizes she’s being watched and likes it. Then we get into exhibitionism but that’s another tale.

In recap, sex makes the world go round literally. The days of vanilla and missionary sex are over as people seek to spice it up. But, hey, any form of intimacy between two or more bonded lovers can be amazing. Yes, even missionary.

Theana ran from Seurri City, home of the wolf shifters now public to humans, to escape a mating with her childhood friend. She wasn’t in the mood for a mate, or the trappings of politics.
